We are currently seeking a qualified Staff Nurse, RN with a minimum of 1-3 years of experience working in a Critical Care department. This position will work Full Time, 6 day shifts per pay period. The scheduled shifts are 12 hours each. The ideal candidate will be able to handle situations with grace and compassion.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse personally administers nursing care to patients/residents and/or plans, directs and coordinates the nursing care of a group of patients/residents via the nursing process and in collaboration with the health team. The Registered Nurse also instructs patients/residents and/or families in procedures, healthcare practices and continuing care after discharge. This RN performs duties and responsibilities in a manner adhering to all hospital and departmental policies and procedures and in compliance with the Indiana State Nurse Practice Act. May be assigned responsibilities in other areas to help cover for breaks and/or illnesses.

Qualifications

Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; current license as a registered nurse with the State of Indiana Health Professions Bureau; Med/Surg experience preferred; Basic Life Support, Healthcare Provider CPR, training per American Heart Association standards will be required. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 lbs, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.
