Assist Accounting Manager with primarily the preparation of financial statements for HRH and several account reconciliations for HRH and HPN. Preparer of several management reports each month.

• Support accounting manager in preparing timely and accurate reporting of financial statements, including journal entry preparation, gathering needed information from various departments, and preparation of supporting reports in particular.
• Provide analysis of variances in certain accounts as needed.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations for HRH & HPN.
• Prepare monthly invoices to other entities.
• Assist in Accounting for other entities.
• Assist in preparing Quarterly 941.
• Involvement with the creation of the annual budget.
• Back-up for Hancock Health accounting staff position.
• Provide analysis on any special projects as needed.
• Maintain strict confidentiality.


3-years previous financial analyst experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting required. CPA preferred or in pursuit of CPA Mandatory Annual Education: Confidentiality and HIPAA Corporate Compliance.
• Knowledge of finance and accounting functions.
• Knowledge of Microsoft office programs, with advanced knowledge of excel.
• Skill in analyzing financial data and preparing appropriate related reports.
• Skill in identifying and resolving problems.
• Skill in attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to communicate clearly both written and oral
