    We are currently seeking a qualified Labor and Delivery Staff Nurse, RN preferably with a minimum of 1-3 years of experience working in a Labor and Delivery department.

    This position is for a full time schedule which will be about 36 hours per week. The scheduled shifts are 12 hours 7p-7a. The ideal candidate will be able to handle situations with grace and compassion. Personally administers nursing care to patients/residents and/or plans, directs and coordinates the nursing care of a group of patients/residents via the nursing process and in collaboration with the health team.


    The Registered Nurse (RN) administers nursing care to patients and/or plans, directs and coordinates the nursing care of a group of patients utilizing the nursing process and in collaboration with the healthcare team. The RN instructs patients and/or families in procedures, healthcare practices and continuing care after discharge. The RN performs duties and responsibilities in a manner adhering to all hospital and departmental policies and procedures and in compliance with professional practice standards, regulatory bodies and the Indiana State Nurse Practice Act.


    Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; current license as a registered nurse with the State of Indiana Health Professions Bureau; participates in Basic Life Support/Healthcare Provider CPR training per American Heart Association standards. STABLE preferred AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Preferred. PALS, ACLS, NRP will be required, training provided. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 lbs, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.
